The Egyptian Meteorological Authority (EMA) predicts moderately cold weather to prevail in Cairo, Lower Egypt, North Coast, and North Upper Egypt, during daylight hours on Thusrday.
Moderately hot weather is also predicted to hit South Sinai and South Upper Egypt.
The country will also witness mist on agricultural and highway roads to Cairo, Lower Egypt, North Coast, Canal Cities, Central Sinai, and North Upper Egypt.
Snow is also foreseen to form on Mount Moses and Saint Catherine's heights. Frost is expected in some regions of central Sinai.
There are chances of light rain hitting intermittently in Cairo and North Upper Egypt.
Light to moderate rain is predicted to prevail intermittently in the South of Lower Egypt, the Canal Cities, and Central Sinai.
Moderate rain is expected to hit the North Coast and North of Lower Egypt, at intermittent intervals.
Furthermore, the Mediterranean Sea will experience moderate waves, ranging between 1.5 and 2 meters in height varying between northeastern and northwestern surface winds.
Waves in the Red Sea will be moderate to turbulent, ranging between 2 and 3 meters in height with northwestern surface winds.
Moreover, cold weather is also expected to prevail in most parts of the country, at night.
Temperatures predicted for the following cities are: 16°C in Cairo, 16°C in Alexandria, 15°C in Marsa Matruh, 19°C in Sohag, 21°C in Qena, and 21°C in Aswan.
