The Egyptian Meteorological Authority (EMA) predicts cold weather to prevail in Cairo, Lower Egypt, North Coast, and North Upper Egypt, during daylight hours on Saturday.
Moderately cold weather is also predicted to hit South Sinai and South Upper Egypt.
It is also foreseen that Egypt will continue to experience a slight drop in temperature in most parts and rain of varying intensity hitting various areas from the North of the country to the eastern coasts and the Red Sea mountains.
Wind will be active in the North Coast—making the air “feel” colder.
Furthermore, the Mediterranean Sea will experience moderate to turbulent waves, ranging between 1.5 and 2.25 meters in height with northwest surface winds.
Waves in the Red Sea will be low to moderate, ranging between 1 and 1.5 meters with northwest surface winds.
