Elon Musk's Starlink returned to work after an outage that affected SpaceX's satellite internet service yesterday evening.
The incident appears to have lasted for about an hour, before Starlink announced on X, that “the network issue has been completely resolved.”
More than 41,000 users reported issues with Starlink on outage tracking website Downdetector.
The Starlink network suffered a similar hour-long outage in September.
Before that, in April 2023, the company experienced a global outage for several hours, which it attributed to expired security certificates at its ground stations.
Starlink, a subsidiary of SpaceX, began launching its Starlink satellites in 2019. It provides coverage to more than 70 countries and owns about 60% of the roughly 7,500 satellites orbiting Earth.
