In the same context, the Telecommunications Regulatory Authority in the Sultanate announced the launch of the service, and said in a publication, "Starlink Muscat starts providing broadband Internet services in the Sultanate of Oman using satellite communication systems."
The Oman Press Agency said that Starlink Muscat will cover all geographical areas of the Sultanate of Oman, including comprehensive service areas with speeds of up to 100 Mbit/s, in addition to providing solutions for connecting communication towers in areas with difficult geographical terrain.
