“Ella Ana” First Egyptian TV Series to Discuss Vitiligo

The TV series “Ella Ana” (Except me) screened on Sunday its new and last story "Lazim Aeesh" (I must live), starring Jamila Awad.

It also stars Naglaa Badr, Ahmed Khaled Saleh, Khaled Anwar, Salma Abu Deif, and others. The story is written by Naglaa El-Heddini and directed by Maryam Ahmady.

The plot discusses the vitiligo and how to coexist with it, for the first time in an Egyptian drama.

“Ella Ana” consists of 60 episodes that revolved around 6 stories that are based on true events, which are pided into 10 episodes and played by six different actresses.

The series discusses many issues, including the community’s view of a porced woman, and the struggle women face for themselves and their children.

“Ella Ana” presented five previous stories, which were, “Banat Moussa" starring Wafa Amer, “Seneen Wa Adet” starring Arwa Gouda, “Amal Hayati” starring Hanan Motawie, “Amur Sakshi” starring Shery Adel, and “Dia Al-Qamar,” starring Kinda Alloush.
