Lebanese recording artist, Elissa added a French dialect song in her upcoming album entitled, "mourir sur scene", which means "Die On Scene" in English— in the French dialect for her great love for French singer Dalida.

Lebanese composer Michel Fadel revealed in an interview with “The Insider Arabia” program broadcast on Dubai TV that Elissa loves artist Dalida, which is why she performed a song in French dialect, called "mourir sur scene,".

Fadel contacted Elissa from his studio and agreed to give a sneak peek into the song, which can be found below.

The Lebanese recording artist had released her first track, “Hanghani Kaman Wi Kaman” (we will sing more and more) from the upcoming album, which was postponed indefinitely due to the spread of Coronavirus.

Hanghani Kaman Wi Kaman is by the lyrics of Shady Nour, and composed by Mohamed Yehia.

Elissa recorded Hanghani Kaman Wi Kaman while in self-quarantine due to coronavirus, which was presented in a video conference-style, and featured her in pink PJs.

The music video also featured Lebanese pop star Haifa Wehbe, who is also self-quarantining at home, along with other inpiduals from their respective homes.

The album is set to be the last in her career, as the artist announced on August 19, 2019, that she will be quitting the music industry.

“I am preparing this new album with a lot of love and passion. The reason is that it will be the last one in my career. I am announcing this with a heavy heart but with a lot of conviction because I can’t work in a field that is similar to mafias. I can’t be productive anymore,” she tweeted on Twitter.

In the new album, she cooperates with a large number of poets and composers she previously worked with, including Amir Teima, Nader Abdallah, and Walid Said.

The 47-year-old artist’s latest album is “Ila Kol Elli Bihebbouni” (To All the Ones Who Love me), which was released by Rotana production، on July 24, 2018.
