Veteran actress, Elham Shahin will star in a new film entitled "Amal Hayati".
Shahin revealed, in televised statements, that she will play the role of a mother of a child with down syndrome, who, with support, persistence, and encouragement, turns into a global, phenomenal singer.
She expressed her hopes that the film will begin shooting soon.
Shahin's latest artistic work is film "Curfew", which marks her comeback to the big screen after an absence of 4 years since she presented the 2016 film, "A Day for Women" by director Kamla Abu Zekry.
"Curfew" is directed by Amir Ramses and stars Ahmed Magdy, and Amina Khalil.
The plot takes place in 2013 on the day Fatin is released from prison. Her daughter, Layla (Khalil), and her husband, Hassan (Magdy), are there to pick her up, but it’s soon clear that all is not well between them.
