The period of the election silence for the 2023 presidential elections in Egypt will kick off at midnight, Friday, December 8.
The process of the elections will start on December 10, and will end on December 12.
The National Elections Authority said that it printed more than 67 million vote cards, in addition to the lists of people who have the right to elect, and all documents related to the process of elections, voting, and counting.
10,085 polling spots are dedicated for the presidential elections nationwide.
Regarding the voting for Egyptian expatriates, the election campaign started in New Zealand and will end in Los Angeles, California, US due to the time adjustments.
4 candidates will run in the upcoming elections including President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi.
The other three candidates are Farid Zahran, head of the Egyptian Social Democratic Party, Head of Al-Wafd Party Abdel Sanad Yamama and Hazem Omar, head of the Republican People’s Party.
