Egyptian President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi delivered an important message to the Egyptian people during a joint press conference with Somali President Hassan Sheikh Mohamud at the Al-Ittihadiya Palace on Sunday.

In his statement, President El-Sisi highlighted the prolonged challenges faced by Somalia since 1991, emphasizing the nation's struggles over the past three decades.

President El-Sisi stressed the importance of stability and security in confronting any challenge, underscoring that a stable and secure state is capable of addressing and overcoming difficulties.

He pointed out the adverse effects of instability on a nation, referring to Somalia's experience as a case in point.

Furthermore, President El-Sisi drew attention to Somalia's population of approximately 25 million people, suggesting the significant difference that an annual economic increase of one billion dollars since 1991 could have made for the country.

This remark underscored the critical role of economic growth in national development and stability.

The meeting between the Egyptian and Somali leaders highlights the ongoing diplomatic efforts in the region to foster stability and security, emphasizing Egypt's role in supporting neighboring countries facing challenges.
