Egypt's President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi hailed on Monday a number of firms' heads who are currently carrying out some development projects in the Sinai Peninsula.
This came during a ceremony for the inspection of the equipment used in the Sinai development and reconstruction process.
Speaking to the attendee, El-Sisi said: “I would like to thank you for your continued hard work in these projects despite the difficult circumstances."
El-Sisi further reviewed the State's efforts throughout the past nine years in developing Sinai and comparing terrorism.
Also in this regard, he noted that the cost of development in Sinai is high, and this is what hindered development during the past period.
