El Sisi Commemorates June 30 Revolution's Sixth Anniversary

President Abdel Fattah El Sisi commemorated, on Sunday, June 30 revolution sixth anniversary saying:” today, Egypt celebrates the sixth anniversary of June 30 popular revolution.

During his speech on this occasion, the president stressed that despite the difficult circumstances during the revolution, it still represents the greatest days in Egypt’s modern history.

The Egyptian head of state praised the revolution saying: ”It expressed Egyptian aspirations, and the loyalty of millions of Egyptians to their country”.

El Sisi pointed out to the role played by  armed forces and police in protecting the homeland and its dignity.

“Egypt became a center of stability, security and peace, amid a turbulent regional environment”, the president noted.

“Thanks to our armed forces, police and all state institutions, we were able to destroy the hide-outs of the terrorist organizations that attempted to violate and weaken the state, " El Sisi said.

He affirmed: ”During the recent years, we also managed to protect our dear homeland from falling into chaos and conflict”.

On the economic side, the president said: ”We have been able to lay solid foundations for an advanced economy”.
