El-sewedy Electric Foundation Boosts Cooperation with Huawei

El-sewedy Electric Foundation signed a deal with Huawei firm to implement Huawei’s training programs within  Technical Academy (STA) in Egypt. The MoU was signed by Huawei Regional EBG President Michael Li and Chairman of El-sewedy Electric Foundation Ahmed El-Sewedy.

The event was attended by a number of major corporate heads from both entities including, Bob Zaho, Huawei Egypt EBG CEO, Manal Hassan, Vice Chairman firm and 50 students and three teachers from STA.

Ahmed El-Sewedy Vice Chairman El-sewedy Electric Foundation, reported that this agreement is in the light of the company’s efforts to train 10,000 student from 10 vocational schools, which the company inaugurated two of them in the 10th of Ramadan city.

Vice Chairman El-sewedy Electric Foundation Manal Hassan, praised Huawei for its contribution to the ecosystem and its efforts in working with all stakeholders on capacity building and talent empowering.

On other hand, Regional EBG President Michael Li, announced that Huawei are expanding ICT programs to reach the biggest number of technical students across Egypt, through collaboration with El-sewedy Electric .

Noteworthy, Huawei started offering a free train-the-trainer (TOT) courses to three engineers from the El-sewedy Technical Academy (STA) in order to qualify them as certified trainers at Huawei ICT academy.

Also, STA curriculum is based on the concept of dual learning, 80% practical training at El Sewedy factories and 20% theoretical smart learning in the academy.
