The Asian Infrastructure Investment Bank (AIIB) Board of Governors Tuesday approved the application for 3 new member states to join.
This came during the annual meetings of the bank in Sharm el-Sheikh today, and this was achieved with the accession of El Salvador, Solomon Islands and Tanzania to bring the number of members to 109 members.
The AIIB Board of Governors welcomed the decision to join the three potential members during the Bank’s eighth annual meeting.
