After the burial ceremony of the famous hairdresser, Mohamed Al Sagheer, Ahmed Al-Sakka, Egyptian actor and his son-in-law, received condolences in front of the cemetery.
Al Sagheer passed away earlier Friday after contracting the Coronavirus. He was transferred to the ICU after his condition deteriorated in recent days.
The late hairstylist’s funeral prayer took place after Friday prayers at the Sultan Hussein Mosque in Salah Salem.
Al Sagheer was one of the most famous hairdressers in the Arab world, he was dealing with many prominent celebrities in Egypt and the Arab world.
In 1960, he began his work in the hair and beauty industry working alongside some of the biggest names, before traveling to France in 1971, to acquire the true skills of the trade under the hands of his mentor the distinguished Alexander de Paris.
He returned to Cairo after two years and established himself as one of the first ‘Haute Coiffeurs’ in the region.
In 1980, Al Sagheer opened his first establishment in Sheraton Heliopolis, challenging the traditional perception of hair salons found in Egypt at that time.
