El-Khatib Presents Hassan Hamdy with Ahly's Golden Medal of Honor

Mahmoud Al-Khatib, President of Al-Ahly SC awarded Hassan Hamdy, the former president of the club, Al-Ahly Golden Medal of Honor, a certificate of appreciation, and a commemorative coin.

This came during a ceremony held on Wednesday at the Institute of Arab Music to honor the legendary symbol, and President of the International Handball Federation Hassan Mustafa.

The ceremony was attended by Ashraf Sobhi, Minister of Youth and Sports, the club's board of director, as well as Ahmed Shobier, who presented the event, and pianist Omar Kheirat, who preformed some of his greatest classics.

Hamdy was honored in recognition of his service to the club over the years in various positions; Player, Football Manager, Supervisor of the Football First Team, Member of the Board of Directors, Treasurer and Agent of the Club, Vice President and then President of the Club from 2002 until 2014.
