El-Helani Introduces Son to Egyptian Public during AMF

Lebanese singer Assi El-Helani, introduced his son Walid El-Helani to the Egyptian public during his concert at the Arab Music Festival (AMF). This came when he requested the Egyptian Opera House to allow his son to participate in the song of “Who We Are Ya Bishr”.

The audience got thrilled with the song with an applause.

El-Helani, thanked the festival's management for hosting the event, stressing the role of the historic festival and its impact in proving that the Arab world will continue to be the title of peace and love, not terrorism.

He took part in the 8th night of the 28th Arab Music Festival, in conjunction with the National Band for Arabic Music led by Maestro Hazem Al Kasabji.

With the emergence of "Hellani" on stage and beginning with the song "Land of Good", which was dedicated to Egypt, the audience joined and sang with him, especially with the emergence of the Lebanese drum ''Dabke''.

He relied on the most of his famous songs among the Egyptian people during the ceremony; he said: "All these songs are completely spontaneous and different from the one we rehearsed and I apologize to the festival for breaking it's rules."

The songs included Wani Marit Marit, Bahebak, Bagher, El Hawa Tayer , in addition to a group of traditional songs such as; a song that claimed you, Asfour to Fayrouz.
