Egyptian Housing Minister Eng. Assem El-Gazzar said on Sunday that the state has built 1.5 million housing units over past nine years.
The minister's remarks came during his speech at "Story of a Homeland: Between vision and achievement” conference that kicked off Saturday in Al-Massa Hotel.
The conference was Inaugurated by President Abdel Fatah al-Sisi.
It includes a number of round circles and plenary sessions during which a comprehensive presentation will be presented about the achievements and projects that have been implemented over the past years, as well as the challenges facing the country.
