Renowned Geologist Farouk El-Baz denounced comments published on the Ethiopian website “The Herald” which stated that the scientist assured that the Great Ethiopian Dam has no technical deficiencies.
The website recently claimed that the renowned Geologist praised the construction quality of Ethiopia’s Renaissance Dam. The website falsely stated that El-Baz claimed “the safety and quality of the dam should not be questioned, as it was constructed by several expert companies and has no deficiencies”.
The famous Geologist said that the claims published on the website are lies and denounced that he ever stated those comments.
The Ethiopian side still persists on publishing lies as part of it’s agenda against Egypt and Sudan concerning the GERD issue.
Addis Ababa is desperately trying to escape any responsibly and even went as far as fabricating comments by Egyptian experts to support their cause.
In exclusive comments to SEE News, El-Baz stated that these comments were fabricated by combining several out of context statements and putting them together, and it is irrational to connect East Al-Owainat and the GERD.
