On Sunday, the Minister of Tourism and Antiquities Dr. Khaled El Anani held a meeting with the Armenian Ambassador in Cairo Hrachya Poladyan for discussing the means of deepening cooperation between both countries especially in the field of archaeology and tourism.
On his side, the Egyptian minister congratulated the ambassador of his new position, wishing him a fruitful stay in Egypt, before, he expressed his hopes in strengthening the mutual ties between both countries in all fields, including tourism due to the special relationship between Egypt and Armenia.
During the meeting, the required approaches and facilities for increasing the mutual cooperation in tourism field for both countries.
Therefore, a major meeting between influential tour organizers from Egypt and Armenia will be held soon for examining the means of cooperation for promoting tourism in both states.
In the same context, both officials signed a memorandum between the Ministry of Tourism and Antiquities, and the Yerevan State University for cooperating in the field of archaeology, excavations, and restoration.
