Pyramids’ newly signed Sherif Ekramy on Friday said that there is no comparison between Al Ahly and Pyramids.
During a press Conference, former Al Ahly Captain said that he is pleased at joining Pyramids, saying, “ I saw a great ambition in the club, which makes me so enthausim to claim the Egyptian League title and the other trophies, we will partake in.”
“I did not hesitate to accept pyramids’ offer as it is the only club, which is suitable for me,” Ekramy added.
“There is comparison between Al Ahly and Pyramids. My mission with Al Ahly ended. I am now in a new adventure with Pyramids. I chose it despite all the other offers as it is a great challenge for me during the upcoming phase,” the 37-year-old goalkeeper noted.
He also expressed his hope in Joining the national team through Pyramids.
It is worth mentioning that Pyramids have signed the former Al Ahly captain on a 3-year deal, after his contract with Al Ahly expired.
Ekramy has a great history with Al Ahly as he claimed 18 trophies with the Red Devills overall; 7 Egyptian leagues, an Egyptian Cup, 5 Egyptian Super Cup, 2 CAF Champions League titles, One CAF confederation Cup title, and two African Super Cup titles.
