Eight Palestinians were killed in an Israeli shelling that targeted the Zeitoun neighborhood in Gaza City, in the northern Gaza Strip, on Thursday, according to the Palestinian News and Information Agency.
The agency quoted local sources as saying that rescue and civil defense teams recovered eight bodies after Israeli drones bombed a house in the Zeitoun neighborhood.
The Palestinian Ministry of Health in Gaza announced on Wednesday that the death toll from the Israeli war on the Gaza Strip had risen to 61,722 Palestinians since October 2023.
