The European Investment Bank (EIB) has extended a €55 million loan to Ukraine to bolster the nation's infrastructure under a dedicated support program.
The EIB's financial assistance focuses on rebuilding critical facilities, including hospitals, social housing, educational institutions, heating systems, water supply networks, waste management, and other essential infrastructure.
In 2024, the program completed several sub-projects, such as the water supply facility in Bucha, Kyiv Oblast; two schools in Vinnytsia Oblast; and a pediatric infectious diseases unit in Zhytomyr Oblast.
The loan highlights the EIB’s commitment to aiding Ukraine's recovery and strengthening its resilience amid ongoing challenges.
