President Abdel Fattah El Sisi is heading today, Monday, on an external tour to pay an official visit to the Sultanate of Oman and the Kingdom of Bahrain, according to Presidency Spokesperson Bassam Rady.
"The tour comes within the framework of the specificity of the Egyptian-Gulf relations, and the cooperation ties between Egypt and the two countries at all levels," Rady said.
Sisi is expected to discuss, during the tour, with his two brothers, His Majesty Sultan Haitham bin Tariq Al Said, Sultan of Oman, and His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa, King of Bahrain, the close bilateral relations that unite Egypt with the two countries.
During the tour, the president will also tackle consultation and coordination on various regional and international issues and crises of common concern during the current stage, which require concerted efforts to protect Arab national security and confront attempts to interfere in the internal affairs of Arab countries and destabilize them.
