Prime Minister Mostafa Madbouly on Tuesday inaugurated the C19 Bridge in New Alamein City, a major transport project designed to improve road connectivity and traffic flow across the rapidly growing coastal city.

The bridge is located at the intersection of the C3 axis and the railway line in the city's southern district, providing direct access to the high-speed electric railway station and strengthening links between key residential, commercial and investment areas.

Madbouly said the bridge is one of the city's main gateways and an important part of the modern road network supporting New Alamein's urban expansion.

Minister of Housing, Utilities and Urban Communities Randa El-Manshawy said the project connects the International Coastal Road with the southern district and the Downtown Towers area, helping ease congestion and support future development.

According to Mohamed Khalafallah, Head of the New Alamein City Authority, the bridge extends 930 metres, is 44 metres wide, and includes five traffic lanes in each direction, in addition to two turning ramps. The project is expected to improve access to the Downtown Towers district, which includes Crystal Lagoons as well as commercial, tourism and investment developments.
