Egypt's National Team Play Like Liverpool F.C: Coach

Zimbabwean head coach Sunday Chidzambwa compared on Saturday Egypt's national team to Liverpool F.C.

"We are lucky to face Egypt in the opening match of the AFCON," Chidzambwa said in an interview with ON Sport.

"We need more time to excel in competition," he said, adding that Warriors will learn from Egypt.

"Zimbabwe are not expected to qualify to round 16 of the Africa Cup of nations. Absolutely, we are not candidates to claim this 2019’s AFCON," he clarified.

Chidzambwa expressed his hopes to advance to the final leg, but at the same time, he asserted that it is impossible to do so in this tournament.

"Egypt will defeat us in the first game, but we will try to secure victories in the upcoming matches against DR.Congo, and Uganda," he remarked.

It is worth mentioning that Zimbabwe will play against Egypt in the opening match at Cairo Stadium on Friday, 21 June at 22:00 CLT.
