Egypt's Grand Mufti, Dr. Shawki Allam, received a high-level delegation from Singapore, headed by Dominic Goh, Ambassador of Singapore to Egypt, and Dr. Albakri Ahmed, Deputy Chief Executive of the Islamic Religious Council of Singapore (MUIS).
The meeting primarily focused on discussing means of mutual religious cooperation and developing channels for benefiting from the expertise of Egypt's Dar al-Ifta, especially in training muftis and exchanging knowledge among official fatwa authorities.
The Singaporean delegation expressed gratitude for Dr. Allam's recent visit to Singapore and acknowledged its significant contribution to the success of the conference.
