Egypt's Mufti, MWL Secretary-General Meet in Islamabad

On the sidelines of the international conference "Girls' Education in Muslim Communities" in Islamabad, the Grand Mufti of Egypt, Dr. Nazir Ayyad, met with the Secretary-General of the Muslim World League, Dr. Mohammad bin Abdul Karim Al-Issa.

During their meeting, they discussed ways to strengthen cooperation between Egypt's Dar Al-Ifta and the Muslim World League to address shared challenges. The Grand Mufti emphasized that girls' education is a fundamental right in Islam and that efforts must be made to eliminate barriers to achieving this goal. Dr. Al-Issa acknowledged the important role of Dar Al-Ifta in promoting moderate discourse and stressed the need to prioritize girls' education.

The meeting concluded with an agreement to continue their collaboration in supporting education, development, and other contemporary issues affecting Muslim communities worldwide.
