Egypt's Grand Mufti, Dr. Shawki Allam, met with the Malaysian ambassador to Egypt, Mr. Zamani Ismail, to bid him farewell on the occasion of the completion of his tenure in Egypt.
Dr. Allam praised Zamani's efforts in fostering the Egyptian-Malaysian relations and serving mutual religious cooperation.
On his part, Mr. Zamani praised the efforts of Egypt's Dar Al-Ifta in serving Islam and Muslims worldwide through renewing religious discourse and confronting extremist ideologies.
