The official spokesman for the Egyptian Company for the Management and Operation of the Underground, Ahmed Abdel Hadi denied what was published on social media (Facebook - Tik Tok) about distributions in the movement of trains on the first line (Helwan - Al-Marg Al-Gedida) and the second line (Shubra Al-Khaimah - Al-Moneeb).

Abdel Hadi confirmed in a statement on Friday that the news is completely false, noting that the video that was published of a woman inside a metro station angry during a technical malfunction is an old one that happened during a second line train breakdown at the time for 10 minutes and has been fixed.

The metro spokesman explained that in the event of any sudden malfunctions beyond the company's control, the passengers are immediately alerted through the internal radio at all stations, and the fault will be fixed in a timely manner.
