As part of President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi's commitment to following up on the ceasefire agreement outcomes and supporting the Palestinian Committee for Management of Gaza Strip, Major General Hassan Rashad, Head of General Intelligence Service, received Mr. Ali Shath, Head of the Committee, and its members on Saturday morning.
During the meeting, Rashad reaffirmed Egypt's unwavering support for the committee's success and the fulfillment of its mandate.
Shath and the committee members expressed their deep gratitude for Egypt's continuous efforts toward Gaza Strip, praising the significant role and positions of President Sisi, particularly regarding the prevention of Palestinian displacement and the preservation of the Palestinian cause.
The committee emphasized that its priorities focus on improving the humanitarian and living conditions for Gaza's residents, highlighting the importance of opening all crossings to allow the maximum flow of essential aid, supplies, and relief.
The meeting also included consultations on the necessary steps for the committee to fully assume its responsibilities within the Gaza Strip.
