Chairman of Hamas Political Bureau, Ismail Haniyeh received a phone call, on Saturday, from Director of Egyptian General Intelligence Directorate, Major General Abbas Kamel.
During the phone call, they discussed the ongoing negotiations aimed at reaching a ceasefire in Gaza, according to an official statement from Hamas.
Hamas confirmed that Abbas Kamel offered his condolences to the head of the movement on the martyrdom of his elder sister and her family.
