Egypt's Housing Minister Witnesses Signing of €60 Million Moheli Port Project in Comoros

Egyptian Housing, Utilities, and Urban Communities Minister, Dr. Assem El Gazzar, visited the Comoros Islands to strengthen the strong ties between the two sisterly countries. 

During his visit, the Minister witnessed the signing ceremony for a €60 million project to construct the Moheli Port in the Comoros Islands.

The contract was signed by the Comoros Islands' Minister of Infrastructure and Ahmed El Assar, the Chairman of the Arab Contractors Company, in the presence of the Ministers of Finance, Economy, Transport, and Planning, as well as the Secretary-General of the Council of Ministers in the Comoros Islands.

Following the signing ceremony, President Ghazali Othmani of the Comoros received the Egyptian delegation. 

During the meeting, the President extended an invitation to the Egyptian government to participate in realizing the vision for the Comoros Islands in 2030. He expressed his admiration for Egypt's experience in construction and development.

Dr. Assem El Gazzar expressed his great pleasure during the meeting, emphasizing Egypt's readiness to participate in planning and implementing national projects in the Comoros Islands and sharing expertise with their fellow nations.
