Egypt’s Ministry of Interior organized a special Mother’s Day celebration at Ain Al-Hayat Resort in Fustat, bringing together young people and their mothers from newly developed urban areas.

The event, held under the "We Are One" initiative and sponsored by the President, aimed to reinforce family values and promote social cohesion.

The festive gathering featured various artistic performances and was attended by several prominent artists who praised the initiative for fostering national and humanitarian values.

The event underscored the importance of family bonds and the role of strong parenting in maintaining social stability.

A spokesperson from the Interior Ministry highlighted the significance of such programs, emphasizing that security begins within the home. "When families feel supported by the state, it strengthens their connection to the country and fosters a sense of belonging," the spokesperson noted.

Attendees expressed their appreciation for the government’s efforts, acknowledging that support for families goes beyond providing housing.

"It’s about education, psychological well-being, and integrating different social classes," one participant commented. Many mothers and children expressed joy at being included in the celebration, praising the President’s commitment to their well-being.

As part of the initiative, the Ministry of Interior also took young participants to distribute Mother’s Day gifts to women who could not attend the event. This gesture aimed to instill values of community service and gratitude among the youth.

In addition, visits were organized to elderly care homes, where young people had the opportunity to celebrate the occasion with senior citizens. This initiative was designed to foster appreciation for the elderly and reinforce values of respect and care.

The "New Generation" initiative, launched under presidential sponsorship, has achieved significant success in enhancing the cultural, intellectual, and social awareness of young people in urban areas. By nurturing a sense of self-confidence and community participation, the program is shaping future generations to be active contributors to society.

The event concluded with expressions of gratitude from participants, who praised the Interior Ministry for its commitment to family values and social solidarity. Many attendees emphasized the importance of continuing such initiatives to build a cohesive and compassionate society.
