The Egyptian Football Association (EFA) announced on Sunday that Egypt's national team head coach Hossam El Badry tested positive for Coronavirus.
In a statement, the Football's governing body in Egypt said that El Badry underwent a coronavirus swab as the result came positive.
The EFA also added that El Badry is now in the self-isolation as he implements the medical protocol, which the Health Ministry implemented.
The daughter Egyptian national team had contracted coronavirus earlier.
It is worth mentioning that the former Red Devils' manager had been appointed as a head coach for the Pharaohs in 2019 as he guided the national team to qualify for the 2022 African Cup of Nations,
