Egypt's Grand Mufti, Dr. Shawki Allam, headed to Sharjah, United Arab Emirates, on Tuesday, March 5, to participate in the international conference titled: "Contemporary Jurisprudence and Its Impact on Enhancing Sustainable Development".
Dr. Allam will deliver the keynote speech at the conference, which is held under the auspices of His Highness Sheikh Sultan bin Ahmed Al Qasimi, Deputy Ruler of Sharjah and President of the University of Sharjah.
The two-day conference is organized by the College of Sharia and Islamic Studies at Sharjah University from 5th to 6th March, with the participation of elite researchers and scholars from the university and several academic institutions in the Islamic world.
