The General Authority for Supply Commodities (GASC) announced the practice of wheat tender on a FOB basis from all origins listed in the specifications.
The Authority stated in a statement that this comes within the framework of the Ministry of Supply and Internal Trade’s strategy to enhance its stocks of basic goods until shipment from December 1 to 15, 2023 and from December 15 to 30.
The Authority stressed the necessity of submitting bid prices FOB on the basis of payment facilities with suppliers for 180 days, as well as on the basis of payment facilities with suppliers for 270 days. A comparison is made between the two prices in order to achieve the interest of the Authority (both prices must be submitted).
It added that the session for opening envelopes and deciding will take place on Thursday, October 12th.
