March 15, 2022, Foreign Ministry celebrates the century of its re-establishment in 1922, after it was suspended due to the British declaration of protection over Egypt in 1914.
On this occasion, the ministry will launch a multi-faceted informative media campaign over several days, starting tomorrow morning, March 8. The campaign will introduce the role of the Egyptian Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Diplomacy, history, and present, as well as the most prominent achievements over the past century; for example, through interactive activities which include asking Q&A on the Ministry's electronic platforms, as well as an overview of the most important stations of ancient Egyptian diplomacy.
The campaign aims to spot light on what the Egyptian diplomacy has undertaken during the past decades, of continuous movements and efforts to defend the interest of Egypt, and to maximize the benefit from various diplomatic frameworks to preserve our national capabilities. The campaign also aims to contribute to efforts of the Egyptian state towards strengthen the pillars of peace and stability on the regional and international arenas.
