On May 19, Egypt’s Foreign Minister Sameh Shoukry received a phone call from his Ukrainian counterpart Dmytro Kuleba.
They dealt through the phone call with bilateral relations between the two countries, as well as the developments of the Ukraine crisis.
The Ukrainian minister briefed him on the latest news on the field and humanitarian levels in light of the ongoing military conflict.
Ambassador Ahmed Hafez, the spokesperson of the Foreign Ministry explained that Shoukry stressed the need to continue the effort and exert all means in order to achieve a peaceful resolution to the conflict, as well as the importance of working towards bloodshed, pointing out in this regard to Egypt’s interest in making all efforts to achieve this.
