Foreign Minister Badr Abdel-Ati and Hakan Fidan, Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Turkey reviewed, during a phone call on Thursday, the framework of periodic communication between the two countries and with the aim of following up the implementation of the outcomes of the last meeting of the Arab-Islamic Committee on Gaza, which was held in Cairo, and the Egyptian-Qatari efforts to establish the ceasefire and return to the January 19 agreement and ensure the implementation of its three phases, and to ensure the release of hostages and prisoners and the entry of humanitarian, medical and shelter aid to the Gaza Strip.
On his part, the Turkish Foreign Minister briefed Minister Abdel-Ati on the results of his recent visit to the United States.
The Arab-Islamic action was also discussed with international actors during the coming period and the mobilization of support for the Arab-Islamic plan for early recovery and reconstruction of Gaza.
