Egypt’s FM Joins Quad Meeting with Saudi, Turkish, and Pakistani Counterparts

The Egyptian Foreign Minister Badr Abdelatty participated in a four-party meeting alongside Faisal bin Farhan Al Saud, Hakan Fidan, and Ishaq Dar, on the sidelines of a consultative ministerial meeting hosted in Riyadh.

According to a statement by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Egypt, discussions focused on enhancing coordination and aligning positions in response to the rapidly evolving developments and serious military escalation in the Middle East, particularly amid Iranian attacks targeting Gulf countries.

Minister Abdelatty stressed the urgent need for an immediate halt to all escalatory actions, emphasizing the importance of prioritizing diplomacy and dialogue over confrontation.

The four ministers agreed to maintain close consultation and coordination in the coming period, reflecting a joint commitment to addressing regional challenges and working toward de-escalation and stability.
