On Saturday, the Egyptian Foreign Minister Sameh Shoukry headed for the Bahraini capital Manama to attend the 17th session of the regional security summit or Manama dialogue.
Shoukry will participate in the session on multilateralism and regional security said Spokesman for the Foreign Ministry Ahmed Hafez.
The Egyptian foreign minister will deliver a speech on the development of multilateralism and ways of dealing with different challenges regionally and internationally over the past decades, according to Hafez.
"Shoukry's address will tackle also the necessity of developing international and regional multilateral action frames to overcome present and future challenges," added the spokesman.
Hafez said Shoukry will meet with ministers and senior officials for talks on pressing regional issues and various challenges facing the region.
Foreign ministers and leaders of regional and international organizations will attend the forum.
