Egypt's Minister of Foreign Affairs of Immigration Badr Abdelatty engaged in a telephone dialogue with his Azerbaijani counterpart Jeyhun Bayramov.
Throughout the conversation, both officials underscored the necessity of further strengthening their amicable relations founded on mutual trust, alongside enhancing both bilateral and multilateral engagements between Egypt and Azerbaijan.
They also emphasized the importance of improving coordination within international organizations and multilateral frameworks, as well as amplifying collaborative efforts in areas of shared interest.
The dialogue included discussions regarding the recent 29th session of the Conference of the Parties (COP29) to the UN Framework Convention on Climate Change, highlighting the significance of this pivotal global event in combating climate change and its potential to foster additional avenues for cooperation between Azerbaijan and Egypt in the realm of green energy.
Additionally, the two ministers exchanged perspectives on various other regional matters of common concern.
