Egypt's First Lady Marks Orphan’s Day

First Lady Entissar El Sisi stressed Friday that the Orphan's Day reflects meanings of love and mercy, marking the first Friday of April, which is being celebrated as the national Orphan’s Day in Egypt.

"Together we join to celebrate this day with Egypt's orphans. The Orphans Day is an expression of the meanings of love and mercy urged by both religious and humanitarian values," the First Lady wrote on her official social media platforms.

She added: "Let us share their joy and extend our kindness to compensate them for what they have lost. Let's draw a smile on their faces."
