Egyptian exports of fresh vegetables recorded about $37525000 last October, compared to $44542000 in October of 2019, a decline of about $7 million, according to government data.
According to the Central Agency for Public Mobilization and Statistics (CAPMAS), fresh vegetable exports came among the Egyptian exports of raw materials, which amounted to about $155537000 last October.
The Egyptian exports of raw materials included fresh onions of about $12399000, followed by peanuts, which amounted to $10 361000 last October. The Egyptian exports of dry pulses with a value of $1838000 last October, compared to $13959000 in the same month of 2019, an increase of about $479000.
The CAPMAS monthly bulletin of foreign trade data last October showed that the value of the trade balance deficit amounted to $2.9 billion during October 2020, compared to $ 4.1 billion for the same month of the previous year, a decrease of 28.8%.
