Egypt's President Abdelfatah El-Sisi has extended an invitation to the Ireland's counter part of to attend the inauguration of the Grand Egyptian Museum (GEM).
According to a statment recently issued by the Egyptian Presidency, Ambassador Mohamed El-Shenawy, the official spokesperson for the Presidency said that the President emphasized the importance of facilitating trade missions between the two nations and enhancing the participation of Irish enterprises in the Egyptian market, which offers significant opportunities and advantages across various sectors.
He added that El-Sisi held a meeting with Irish President Michael Higgins at the commencement of his official visit to the Republic of Ireland, marking the final leg of his European tour.
The discussion included an overview of the initiatives undertaken by Egypt to implement economic reforms, foster comprehensive development, and attract foreign investments, the statment read.
