The recovery rate from the coronavirus at Egyptian isolation hospitals has reached 83.5%, after receiving the necessary medical care, according to the guidelines of the World Health Organization (WHO).
In a statement, the Ministry of Health revealed that the number of people recovering from the virus increased to 288,879 cases.
On Tuesday, Egypt’s Health Ministry reported 941 new coronavirus cases, bringing the country’s total up to 345,848.
The total number of COVID-19-related deaths has now reached 19,636 nationwide after the ministry announced 69 deaths.
About 765 patients were discharged from quarantine at isolation hospitals, raising the total number of fully-recovered cases to 288,879.
Egypt has vaccinated about 40 million citizens against the deadly virus.
