The recovery rate from the coronavirus at Egyptian isolation hospitals has reached 80.4, after the number of people recovering from the virus increased to 228624 cases, according to the Ministry of Health’s statement.
It is worth mentioning that, Egypt reported 31 new coronavirus cases on Tuesday, bringing the country’s total up to 284,090.
The total number of COVID-19-related deaths has now reached 16498 nationwide after the ministry announced 4 deaths.
About 654 patients were discharged from quarantine at isolation hospitals, raising the total number of fully-recovered cases to 228624.
Egypt plans to vaccinate 40 million citizens by the end of the year, representing around 40% of the population.
