The recovery rate from the coronavirus at Egyptian isolation hospitals has reached 80.1, after the number of people recovering from the virus increased to 227490 cases, according to the Ministry of Health's statement.
It is worth mentioning that, Egypt reported 38 new coronavirus cases on Saturday, bringing the country’s total up to 283,985.
The total number of COVID-19-related deaths has now reached 16,481 nationwide after the ministry announced 4 deaths.
About 422 patients were discharged from quarantine at isolation hospitals, raising the total number of fully-recovered cases to 227,490.
Egypt plans to vaccinate 40 million citizens by the end of the year, representing around 40% of the population.
