Egypt’s ambassador to Morocco has reaffirmed the depth of cultural and emotional ties between the two countries, saying Egypt enjoys a unique and enduring place in the hearts of the Moroccan people.
Speaking during a cultural event in Rabat, Ambassador Ahmed Nihad Abdel-Latif highlighted the strong historical connection between Egypt and Morocco, noting that Egyptian culture has long resonated across Moroccan society. He pointed to Egyptian cinema, music, and arts as key pillars that have helped strengthen bonds between the two peoples over decades.
The ambassador said that Egyptian artistic heritage remains widely admired in Morocco, describing it as a shared cultural language that transcends borders and reinforces a sense of common Arab identity. He added that cultural initiatives and artistic exchanges continue to play an important role in bringing the two nations closer.
Abdel-Latif also underscored the broader strength of Egyptian-Moroccan relations, which extend beyond culture into political, economic, and social cooperation. He praised the warmth and hospitality shown by Moroccan institutions and citizens toward Egyptian delegations and visitors, calling it a reflection of genuine mutual respect.
According to the ambassador, Egypt and Morocco are united by long-standing historical links and people-to-people connections that continue to shape a strong and positive bilateral relationship. He stressed that these ties remain a solid foundation for expanding cooperation and dialogue in the years ahead.
