The Egyptian ambassador to Morocco Yasser Othman commented on the response of the Egyptian authorities to Morocco's Earthquake.
Othman highlighted that Egypt offered its condolences to Morocco over the tragedy and expressed its solidarity with the Moroccan administration, the ambassador expressed in a phone interview with CBC.
He added that President El Sisi expressed Egypt's readiness to assist and aid Morocco which expressed the depth of the Egyptian-Moroccean ties.
Othman revealed that an emergency committee was formed by the embassy to monitor the conditions of the Egyptian communities in Morocco, asserting that no dead or injured were reported among Egyptians in Morocco.
